The Pobre de Mí is the midnight farewell ceremony that marks the sad end of the fiesta on the night
of July 14 in the Plaza Consistorial (in front of the City Hall). Everyone takes off the red
pañuelos and holds them in the air singing:
“Pobre de Mí, Pobre de Mí, que se han acabado las fiestas de San Fermín.”
(Poor me, poor me, the festival of San Fermín has ended).
